Based on previous successful events, FDCC will hold a fundraising dinner on Thursday, 21st August 2008 at the quality Cambodian restaurant Bopha Devi located at the Docklands in Melbourne.
“Cambodian (or Khmer) cuisine is an exotic fusion of Chinese, Indian & French influences. An emphasis is placed on freshness of ingredients & simplicity in cooking, allowing the complex aromas, textures & flavours to shine. The core flavours are subtle, utilising lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves and turmeric.”
The cost of dinner and drinks will be $110 per person with 100% of net proceeds going towards operating costs for Mekhala House in Prey Veng, Cambodia. There will also be a raffle and an auction on both of the nights.
Tables seatings for 4, 6 or 8 people are available and any donations for raffle or auction prizes would be gratefully received.
Please email info@fdcc.com.au or call Melani Daruis on 0414 291 680 for further information or bookings.
