Request for Donations of Clothes
As summer nears to an end and we look towards winter, please spare a thought for the Mekhala House children when clearing out your summer wardrobe. At Mekhala House, we rely on donated clothing for the children so any clothes (in good condition) to fit girls between the ages of 3 to 16 years old would be gratefully received.
Suitable clothes include:
- light-weight long skirts, pants, t-shirts with sleeves (both long and short)
- mid-length to long dresses with no plunging necklines or gapping arm-holes;
- knee-length skirts or shorts (no mini-skirts or short shorts to cater for cultural sensitivities); and
- hats, sturdy slippers and runners.
Please contact Melani on 0414 291 680 or email fdcc@fdcc.org.au to organise delivery or pick-up. The clothes will then be sent over to Mekhala House in Cambodia via visiting Australian volunteers or FDCC directors.
